BOUND BY AN INCLUSIVE

BROTHERHOOD

Phi Beta Sigma was founded on January 9, 1914 by three young African-American male students. The Zeta Chi Sigma Chapter represents an extension of this real Brotherhood – one that calls for and gladly gives its best in the hour of need.

EXCELLING IN AND VIGOROUSLY PROMOTING

SCHOLARSHIP

Zeta Chi Sigma brothers leverage knowledge acquired by way of numerous academic, military, and professional accolades to encourage the development of keen percept and sound judgement in our youth.

PERPETUALLY DEDICATED TO

SERVICE

Zeta Chi Sigma has served as a mechanism to deliver services to the general community of Prince George’s County, MD and Metropolitan Washington, DC  since 1978.

Meet Our Chapter

Chartered on September 25, 1978, Zeta Chi Sigma proudly serves Prince George’s County, Maryland and the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. We are also the alumni advisor chapter to the Brothers of the Delta Mu Chapter of the Fraternity, seated at Bowie State University (Bowie, MD).

We are a chapter that places BROTHERHOOD first and SERVICE to our community above ALL! As you browse through our website, the Brothers of Zeta Chi Sigma hope that you will see us as a reflection of our Fraternity’s motto, “Culture for Service and Service for Humanity,” and fully understand why this chapter is one of the great pillars of our wondrous band!

What makes Zeta Chi Sigma special?

We are a chapter of 100+ men of Sigma (ranging in age from 20s to 80s) whose passions for service, as well as our realms of knowledge and influence, span multiple industries and environments.

Serving Communities with Kindly Attitudes

We believe that service can take multiple forms, and that the needs of those whom we serve evolve constantly. Zeta Chi Sigma mobilizes to address said needs and willingly collaborates with local service organizations and businesses to maximize the reach of our efforts.
