BROTHERHOOD
Phi Beta Sigma was founded on January 9, 1914 by three young African-American male students. The Zeta Chi Sigma Chapter represents an extension of this real Brotherhood – one that calls for and gladly gives its best in the hour of need.
SCHOLARSHIP
Zeta Chi Sigma brothers leverage knowledge acquired by way of numerous academic, military, and professional accolades to encourage the development of keen percept and sound judgement in our youth.
SERVICE
Zeta Chi Sigma has served as a mechanism to deliver services to the general community of Suburban Washington, DC and Prince George’s County, MD since 1978.

Chartered on September 25, 1978, in Prince George’s County, Maryland, ZXΣ proudly serves the Washington, DC Suburban area, as well as the alumni advisor chapter to the Brothers of the Delta Mu (ΔM) Chapter of the Fraternity, seated at Bowie State University (Bowie, MD).
We are a chapter that places BROTHERHOOD first and SERVICE to our community above ALL! As you browse through our website, the Brothers of Zeta Chi Sigma hope that you will see us as a reflection of our Fraternity’s motto, “Culture for Service and Service for Humanity,” and fully understand why this chapter is one of the great pillars of our wondrous band!
